Hey everyone!
Splits
with Elder Bringhurst was the best! Learned a ton and it was awesome
to talk about home and good times and stuff. 10/10. He asked me at
the end the thing that has taught me the most on my mission so far. I
thought about it and realized that it was actually being
rejected. You
really begin to understand the Savior in a new way when you are
rejected for his sake. You understand a little what he went through
and you recognize the times you close the door on Him and don't want
to hear what He has to say. It's really a sacred opportunity if you
think about it.
Transfer calls came and I'm
staying in Sundsvall! I am entering my fourth transfer here
today and I reach my six month mark at the end of this month and I'm
trying to figure out where all that time went... I'm now the old
geezer in Sundsvall that knows all the branch's secrets. Everyone in
my original district has transferred and two have gone home. Weird
feeling! Elder Moss is heading down to Jönköping, then it'll just
be me left!
I
gave a talk on Sunday about prayer. Some things I learned from
preparing: sincere prayer can make a world of difference in how happy
you are, praying for those you love can give you peace and assurance
for their welfare, praying with gratitude reveals how the Lord was
involved in your day or week or month or life. So get on
your knees! ??
I love you all! Have a great
week :)
